The Editorial

Welcome to my first Stargate SG-1 zine. In case you yon't know anything about me, I've been editing/publishing fanzines and writing fan fiction for 20 years, beginning with K/S and moving into various other fandoms such as Wiseguy, Miami Vice, The Sentinel, and other more esoteric fandoms which usually end up in my multi-media "/" zine, "Dyad".

Anyway, I need to thank a few people for indispensable help with this project. First, T.B. without whose excellent plotting skills my story, "Fire-ln-The-Blood", wouldn't exist. And to my two excellent proofreaders (betas), Theresa Kyle, who doesn't really know Stargate but did a great job anyway - and Sue, who does know Stargate and didn't only help with the proofreading but cheered me on all the way. And thanks to both Trish and Sue for help with the title.

Most of the authors here are new friends and I welcome each and everyone of you and thank you for trusting in me with your stories and poetry. I appreciate the vote of confidence and hope I've lived up to that trust.

Last, but never, ever least, I have to thank Suzan Lovett for the magnificent cover. When I asked if she'd contribute, she immediately jumped in with both feet and created the glorious art for "Sodality". And, btw, flattering will get you just about anything you want, Suzan!

So, I hope you enjoy "Sodality". I'd love to hear what you think of the zine and I hope you will also take advantage of the author's e-mails and send them feedback as well.

"Sodality #2" is already accepting submissions. Please contact me for the deadline or check in with my website on the title page).

On with the show...
