Slash-sis was one of the first open mm slash mailing lists to form after free email lists became available in the mid-'90s. It immediately became large and hugely active, only to die off quickly after the formation of the next big open M/M slash list, Slashpoint.

It was advertised at the early slash website, Slash Home Page in June 1996.
