Excerpts

What was your first experience with fanfic?

Writing "Lou Grant" fan fic back in junior high school!

What made you into a Skinneroticist?

My fetish for balding men w/glasses (I married one), my love of strong, protective men. The challenge of giving Skinner a life and a personal side.

When did you start writing?

Well, I learned to write before kindergarten and started w/stories as soon as I knew what a sentence was!! As far as fanfic? I started in jr high, writing my friends and myself into our favorite shows as original characters. Didn't know there was a name to this kind of writing until about 1992 when I stumbled on websites!!

What was the first X-files/Skinner story that you wrote and what inspired it?

An unpublished collaboration with a friend. What inspired it? Well, she liked Mulder more than I , and when Mulder dumped MY character for hers, I figured..."hm...the AD's kinda cute!!" >;-}

Are you still writing fanfic? What are you currently working on?

Yes, I am still writing, I'm working on some Doggett fic...but took time to do some ER stuff and dabble in some Law & Order: SVU and Homicide: LOTS but never published that stuff!

How do you feel about fanfic in general?

It's fun, i enjoy it for the most part. Some folks get fanatical and nasty about it, but that's the way things are in all aspects of life, isn't it?
