Why did you choose your pen name?
I chose welshwitch because I am Welsh, which I wanted everyone to know straight away. The -witch part was to give a link to the Harry Potter world, because it's HP fanfiction I write.
When did you start writing fanfiction?
I started writing fanfiction a couple of months ago, after finding the existence of schnoogle on the web.
Would you agree that fanfiction is a genre dominated by women, and if so, why do you think it's so?
I think fanfiction does seem to be dominated by women, but I don't think it's due to any differences in ability. I think women are just more inclined to do something calm like sit down and write a story than boys who go and play sport and stuff.
