Some Excerpts
Why did you choose your pen name?
*coughs* "The Moomins" deal with some very complex aspects of human nature, you know. Unless you're watching the cartoon, that is. "Mymmeli" is Finnish for Mimble. And Finnish is a beautiful language – Tolkien thought so too.
Would you agree that fanfiction is a genre dominated by women, and if so, why do you think it's so?
I've noticed it (I only know HP fandom), but never really thought about it. Maybe being in such a community gives a sense of belonging guys don't need? Or maybe they just don't speculate about the storylines/backstories like we do.
This is a site devoted to antagonists. Could you reveal us your favourite Mr. Bad Guy?
In the Potterverse it has to be Dolores Umbridge – she terrifies me because I can easily imagine a Real Life person like her. And I'm stumped by her motivation. I mean, why? Was it all just hunger of power? Outside of it – Bulhakov's Woland. He can't be viewed as anything other than a villain, but is strangely likeable and even compassionate. And he has Class.
