She-Warriors of the Empire is a March 1996-February 1997 calendar.
From the editor:
'Warg (David Sweet of Kanada) and Kishin (Sue Frank of the USA) hope that is just the first of a continuing series of fannish Klingon calendars. We need your support and participation to keep 'em coming.Kishin and Kadak and others had kicked around the calendar project for a long time. 'Warg picked up the idea and "happened" it. He designed the Klingon year with nine forty-day months plus a live-day Festival of Kahlessat the close, laid it out completely, created the cover art and collected the photographic materials. Kishin assembled it with a lot of help from consort Ken and Mornaz (Linda Giles). All Klingon fans are invited to contribute to future kalendars. Send us your suggestions for Klingon holidays, Terran days we should remember, art, and especially fresh photos of yourselves in full Km kit. No restrictions by club affiliation, age, or sexual orientation. Future Kalendars will be themed according to the material we receive. Males? Males and Females? Cross-dressed Warriors??!!... Many funky old fannish Klingon holidays were shamelessly lifted from the "Klingon Empire Appointment Calendar" from Boojums Press (Paula Smith and Friends of MI), oft-reprinted in the seventies and remembered for glory here!
Papers for the cover and back sheet are the gift of Turak (Stefan Siehoff) made in the paper factory where he worked.
