Awena: "Shadows, Something Else". C/P. The first true Chak-hurt story I came across. Absolutely sold me on the concept of pain and torture for our favorite commander. And damn, the man suffers so beautifully. Shadows is Tom's perspective. Chakotay's perpective is "Cover the mirror", which is equally good. I always imagine an angsty loving follow-up to these pieces. Too bad there isn't any.[1]
