SETTLING IN takes place after ST:TMP. Kirk and Spock meet alone for the first time since the emergency of V'ger. We see a tired, grateful, earnest Kirk And a changed, mellowed, slightly remorseful Spock face the misunderstandings which led to Spock's leaving for Gol. To watch as these two legendary friends come to terms with hurt and long-denied feelings is a joy. This is a pleasant read with some beautiful moments. [1]
