Fans have given him several names over the years for their own headcanons, though Choyo is a fairly popular one; 'Selfish' is one of the translations of the Swahili word 'Choyo'.
Due to Selfish's strong resemblance to Scar, Mohatu will often be portrayed as a relative (often brother, or sometimes cousin). Otherwise, he'll often be his former best friend.
