Scared Senseless is a 174-page slash and gen Sentinel anthology of supernatural stories. Despite it being titled as "issue 1," there are no others.

The cover is byTACS and the single interior illo (simple clip-arty thing) is by MegaRed.

Summary

From a distributor, Agent With Style:

In this zine where the Sentinel and his Guide meet up with the supernatural, watch them deal with ghosts, vampires, poltergeists, body-stealing spirits and much more, all while trying to deal with their own relationship, whatever that happens to be!

From the Editorial

When I first suggested this zine as a possibility to the various authors I knew, I was invariably asked, "Is it straight or slash?" I didn't know how to answer. I didn't want to have to deny myself (and you) the pleasure of a wonderful story simply because of the relationship involved. So I shrugged and said, "A bit of both." The authors accepted that and went to work with a will. And, boy, what they came up with) You have such a treat ahead of you!

This zine is divided nearly evenly into straight and slash, with the former being first. The division line, if you will, is that colored piece of paper you can see if you flip through the zine. That will prevent anyone reading anything he or she doesn't want to, and let some of the more eager readers get to the 'good stuff <grin>.

Reactions and Reviews

Scared Senseless had some pretty wonderful stories in them, too. The cover illo looks distorted and I didn't care for it much. [1]
