Canon
The main canon basis for this ship is the fact that in A Storm of Swords Olenna and Margaery bring up the possibility of marrying Sansa with the Tyrell heir, Willas. Sansa agrees, and is excited about the prospect, but that plan is ruined when Tywin Lannister marries her to Tyrion Lannister.
Fandom
Since this is a book only ship and the characters don't know each other in the canon, this is a rare ship.
