About Its Creation
In 2012, Rachael Sabotini described creating this website:
Well, I remember that I created it with an Adobe WYSIWYG sort of product, and I had little color crayons that I could pick and use to make the colors on it, and Rachael's Sabotini's House o' Fanfic was created at that point in time. I used some clip art that I'd paid for from this woman who made themes and stuff like that, and used that for some of the stuff that I was doing. But the very first version had, I used Photoshop to piece together the top of Methos's head and Methos's face from "Comes a Horseman", and that was my background. So, very much remember going through all of this work in order to put up this web page—hand coding it, you know, in HTML, and using these color crayons to make things, in order to be able to post. You know? Because I did, you always posted it to the list, and the list also had an archive associated with it. It was on, I think, eGroups. It started off, first, not even on eGroups. It was on ... It was ROG-L. And it was on one of the list servers that existed before eGroups, and then migrated to eGroups, and that eventually became Yahoo! Groups. And I think it's, it's still there. [9]
