Reactions and Reviews
1999
Illogical. If I’d had such a dream as Kirk did and if that same dream repeated itself in more and more details and if events began to unfold as if in that dreams, I wouldn’t have waited to raise the shields till I got hit by that Klingon ship and I wouldn’ve the good sense to do that, Kirk surely would. Besides, if Kirk saw his dream unfold he would’ve ordered those people off the bridge, just to make sure that if it did happen, there wouldn’ve been enough space in the lift to carry them all. Besides, nothing indicated that they were indispensable at that moment. A patronizing Spock isn’t a beautiful sight and I can understand it sets Kirk’s teeth on edge. Don’t tell me that the Enterprise bridge crew would panic that easily and don’t tell me they would beg McCoy to tell them what to do. They would know what to do in any emergency situation and they surely would know where to go and what to do once the order to abandon ship was given. [1]
