Biography
Roger Corman (b. 1926) is an American movie director/producer/writer/actor who became famous in the 1950s as a creator of low-budget exploitation films, often completing films in days. He also served as a mentor to many significant filmmakers who would become big deals in the 1960s and 1970s, including Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorsese, Peter Bogdonavich, Ron Howard, James Cameron and John Sayles and actors such as Jack Nicholson.
