Rick Grimes Dad Jokes was a meme in The Walking Dead fandom. It shows screen shots of the episode Killer Within when Rick Grimes was crying over the death of his wife, while his young son, Carl Grimes, stands stoically. Sometime in late 2013 this sequence was turned into a humorous meme, involving Rick telling Carl a joke, these jokes are usually of the dad joke, or bad joke, variety. The meme became very popular on Twitter and Tumblr.
