This was a cute idea. I got a little confused during the debriefing, but that appears to have been the author's intent. There is one question that remained with me: Who is the "we" Kirk is referring to in his apology? Does this mean McCoy was in on the deception, or does he mean "we" as in the lovemaking Spock and Kirk had that morning?
