Reese/Carter is the main het OTP in Person of Interest fandom.
Canon
Canonically, the characters started out as adversaries, as Carter devoted a lot of energy to catching Reese, whom she called "the man in a suit". Even then, though, there was clearly a connection between the two because of their military backgrounds. As Carter got more involved with Finch and Reese's work, she and Reese got closer. Reese and Carter kissed each other in the ninth episode of the third season: in the ending of the episode Carter got killed by Patrick Simmons.
