All of today’s recs are by ariadnes_string. She’s got more H50 fic that I have read but these were my favourites. I’m still having to be careful about what H50 fic I read because I am only just halfway through the 2nd season so nothing too recent will be listed here. [...] First up is Red Line Overload (the Lytton Strachey remix). I haven’t read the original fic yet but I really liked this one. This one is from Danny’s POV and is McDanno and pretty explicit. I really like the descriptiveness of the story, and the characterisation. I love that Danny is the calmer, more controlled one. It’s actually one of my favourite things about the show in general that in attitude Danny is the explosive one and Steve is calm but when it comes down to action time, it’s Steve that thinks hand grenades are the solution to all of life’s problems. Anyway, back to the rec; aside from the descriptions and the characterisations, I also like the sex. Not just in that I find the porn hot, but also I like the way Danny uses it. It is pretty graphic tho so definitely an NSFW or little brothers kind of fic.
