Reactions and Reviews
An interesting, careful short story of Kirk's feelings during the events STVI. Spock helps him come to terms with his hatred and prejudice of the Klingons. Kirk thinks of his feelings for David and later, when everything turns out all right, is glad that Spock made him face the Klingons. But Spock has since realized the dangers that Kirk had to confront and feels guilty. Nice realistic dialogue (except for occasional "haven'ts" and "you'ds" from S) with a satisfying conclusion.[1]
