Real Men is a Kirk/Spock story by Q.S. Pongee.

It was published in the print zine Within the Mirror #8.

"Kirk agrees to donating ten “inseminations” on a female dominated planet, unaware they are collected by a machine."

Reactions and Reviews

A nice fresh spin on "the aliens forced us to do it" idea, and, whew, what sex. Lots of it and well written. The ending is perfectly "mirror" and makes me wish for a sequel. [1]

A unique story. A really well-drawn depiction of an interesting society, its people and technology. ISS Enterprise needs repair at Cygnet 14, an all-female planet. Kirk is pissed - and malicious, compulsive, reckless. He more or less trusts Spock, however.

Kirk hates the "dykes" on the planet, thinks they just need a good fuck. He and Spock make a deal with the Cygnetians for secret armament augmentation under the guise of the repair stop; but in return, the Cygnetians want a sperm deposit from him.

Kirk makes Spock stay with him while he fucks the collection machine to make the ten deposits. Naturally. Spock gets aroused. After six times. Kirk can't get it up, so Spock tells sex stories. Naturally, Kirk gets aroused; wants Spock to touch him. And so he does... Yum.

The stories they tell of their earlier years, sexual exploits, are very imaginative - great Empire tales.

These Mirror characters are very out-front with each other, very explicit and frank about how they could have a sexual relationship if they chose to. The kiss on the lips is the first real, honest intimacy, and very moving for that reason.

Sex is written very well - very many different sexual things go on throughout the story yet there is never any awkward phrasing. Eventually Spock must relieve his own desires and fucks Kirk - hot stuff - and there is an unintentional sexual meld.

A very strange interlude, indeed. A pleasure to read. [2]
