Rare Femslash Exchange is a gift exchange for F/F pairings with fewer than 251 works on AO3. It began in 2021 and has run annually since then. The minimum requirements are either a 500 word fic or a nice sketch.

Ship Eligibility
A pairing must fill the following criteria to be eligible:
1. Be a "/" ship with two or more more characters that are women (canon or genderbent) or genderqueer characters that you are comfortable nominating in a f/f exchange.
2. Have no more than 250 works works on AO3, completed (no WIPs), and written in English, while using the otp:true filter![1]
Schedule
RFE holds nominations during the first 1-2 weeks of December, then has sign-ups in mid to late December. Assignments are out around the new year, and due in early February. Assignment reveals and creator reveals are typically mid-late February.[2]
History
RFE began in 2021, and has run annually since then. For the 2021 round, 88 works were created covering 75 fandoms. In 2022, 110 works were created covering 86 fandoms. In 2023, 120 works were created covering 81 fandoms.[3]
