Raleigh Becket is a former Jaegar pilot who left the program following his brother's death. Stacker Pentecost convinces him to return to the fight against the Kaiju, sea monsters from another dimension, and Pentecost's daughter Mako Mori becomes his co-pilot. Together they pilot the Jaegar Gipsy Danger and close the breach.
