Rain Dance is a Chakotay/Paris story by L.R. Bowen.
I posted one of the first C/P stories, "Rain Dance", on alt.sex.fetish.startrek back in 1995, and the idea occurred to a lot of other people as well![1]
Reactions and Reviews
This was the first 'net C/P (discounting some of the multiple-type stories). It holds up surprisingly well given how long Voyager has been on, and should be read not only because it's historical, but because it's hot (literally . . . Oh I slay myself). It's been reviewed at the Blue Reviews. [2]
...a wonderful combo of sci-fi plot (stranded on alien planet), character development (Paris and Chakotay trapped like rats in blazing sun), and improbable sex (two men dehydrated? dusty? haven't bathed in days? having a good time together?). S/he makes it all work, very well. [3]
