/r/HPfanfiction is a Harry Potter fanfiction community on Reddit. The site is not a fanfic archive, but instead a place for fans to discuss HP fanfics, post rec lists and find new fanfics. The sub was created on October 25, 2011.
About
This fanfiction community has existed for almost two decades now, ever since the series began gaining traction. Authors began sharing their stories on Live Journal, Yahoo Groups, and different forum sites, and now most fanfics are on fanfiction.net (FFnet) or Archive of Our Own (AO3). Jump write into reading or writing, and don't look back![1]
Book Club
Since April 2014, the sub holds a monthly fanfiction book club, where the members of the sub discuss their thoughts of a chosen fanfiction. The first fanfiction discussed by the bookclub was the Harry/Ginny fic, The Amplitude, Frequency and Resistance of the Soul Bond by Council.
