Some Excerpts

Definitely Sirius Black [is my favorite HP character to draw]. I think his personality is very dynamic, which gives a lot of room for experimenting with style and mood. The fact that he has so much history behind him (cheerful school-boy days, arrogant teenage hood, family conflicts, Azkaban) means there are so many different situations in his life that is available to explore through art.

I really adore digital art and I still find the tablet a novelty since Ive only been using it for two years. I love the ease and the different effects and moods you can create with digital art that real media doesnt offer. Having said, though, I still appreciate and am currently practicing painting with acrylics because there is just something wonderfully satisfying about having a solid, finished product after all the hard work.

There are too many talented artists in the fandom to list! I would like to thank linnpuzzle, however, because it was through looking at her art that introduced me to the idea of fan-art in the first place and started me off on drawing. fiendart is also another legend that I am constantly in awe of.

[Favorite piece that she's done:] The picture of Grindelwald leaping out of the window after stealing the wand.[note 1] I loved the process of creating that piece and the way everything just fitted and fell into their place. I think I drew everything in one go without having to re-do anything.
