Questden, formerly known as tgchan, is an imageboard that hosts Quests. It changed its name in 2019.

The forum began as part of 4chan as /tg/ (traditional games), where content related to TTRPG games was posted. including text-based RP. Following the banning of questing caused by the popularity of Ruby Quest and other quests on /tg/, a new forum was created by Dylan, Flynx and Starit in 2009 called tgchan. It was more consistently moderated than /tg/ and with established anti-trolling rules[1], less subject to be hijacked by /b/ (random) users[2].

Or, in the words of the Questden Wiki:

The site was started under its original name, Tgchan, as an escape/refuge from 4chan, after SDF was banned for continuing Joandventure. It was intended as a place where quests could be run without the rampant stupidity that exists in 4chan. Though it took a while to get rolling, it eventually came into its own as a useful and active community, and has hosted many memorable quests over its decade-plus of existence.

In mid-late 2019, it was decided that the name should be changed due to the -chan suffix becoming more and more tainted as time goes on. After much deliberation and some polls, the name "Questden" was chosen, which it retains to this day.
