The Punisher is a Netflix television series based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and shares continuity with the other Netflix MCU series; Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and crossover series, The Defenders.
Canon
After apparently getting his revenge on the people responsible for the deaths of his wife and children (in Daredevil S2 and in flashback in the first episode of this series), Frank Castle tries to move on with a normal life. The hacker Micro uncovers a conspiracy related to the Castle family murders and draw the Punisher into his quest for justice.
