Prime Time Press was a fanzine publisher in the 1980s and 1990s. It closed temporarily in 1999 due to real life comittments.[1] It reopened in 2002 to publish Serendipity, a multi-fandom fanzine.[2] It closed again in 2005.
From a 1987 statement: "I started Prime Time to be able to get the sort of zine I prefer to read...multi-media, with the widest possible variety of fandoms. A sort of smorgasbord to sample universes and, perhaps, even find new interests. My other zine. Shadow Chasers Express represents a small, but voluble universe, one that I've been pleased to expose to fandom at large. And the most important factor here, for me at least, is that I'm having fun, getting to know more people who share my intersts, or who introduce me to new ones. This is one of the reasons I was attracted to fandom in the beginning, and one of the reasons I've stayed." [3]
