Potato Club is a Captain Tsubasa doujinshi released by CLAMP in April 1988 at the price of 1000 yen, a month before the conclusion of Captain Tsubasa manga. It is mostly gen but also contains some shounen ai stories. The doujinshi is presented as a magazine with restaurant recommendations as if written by Captain Tsubasa characters and lists of events in the Kansai area. CLAMP also advertised their coming original stories of RG Veda and Shoten as imitation of magazine ads. The back cover imitates an advert about a school called "CLAMP Gakuen", saying they accept students from kindergarten up to college. There is a child dressed in the uniform of the school holding the hand of a dinosaur, who is the teacher.

It includes both an anthology of small comics and short fanfiction, as well as a crosswords section and an horoscope section. It came with postcards and cassette covers as gift.
