Paul Reubens (né Rubenfeld; August 27, 1952 - July 30, 2023) was an American actor and comedian, widely known for creating the character Pee-wee Herman whom he portrayed in Pee-wee's Playhouse, Pee-wee's Big Adventure, Big Top Pee-wee, Pee-wee's Big Holiday, and The Pee-wee Herman Show.
Other notable characters of his are Lock in The Nightmare Before Christmas, Amilyn in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Derek Foreal in Blow.
