Pat Grant first became active in science fiction and media fandom when she attended a Star Trek convention in 1973. She later became active Star Wars fandom, becoming president of the Forces of the Empire fan club in 1980 and editing the zines Bound by the Force and Tales from the Cantina, and was a co-editor on Imperium.

She passed away in May 2018.

We are sorry to hear that Pat Grant died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Sparrow Hospital due to complications of renal failure. Pat was a long-time MW*C attendee and had just been able to attend MW*C 38. Our best wishes to her friends and family.
