Passions was an American daytime soap opera that aired on NBC from 1999 to 2007. It aired immediately following Days of Our Lives, replacing Another World.
The series was cancelled by NBC in 2007 and picked up by DirecTV for their premium channel The 101 Network. During the transition, The 101 also aired Passions LIVE!, a talk show hosted by Eric Martsolf (Ethan Winthrop) that allowed fans to call in live or submit video message or questions for the cast online.[1] DirecTV cancelled Passions after a final 2007–2008 series, despite renewed fan campaigns to save the show.[2]
