Reactions and Reviews

(Kirk/Spock/Gorn). After "Edge of Forever" Kirk is mourning Edith and Spock is disturbed at Kirk's having fallen in love with someone else. Both are uncharacteristically emotional and take their anger out on each other in quarrels that turn downright dangerous. McCoy counsels Spock to accept Kirk as he is, and the two work things out. In part two of the tale, the Enterprise entertains the Gorn captain from "Arena" - now an ambassador. (In a nice touch, the Gorn tells them to call him John Smith, as they can't pronounce his name.) The ambassador instantly sees their still-closeted relationship, and seeks an invitation to join in.[1]
