About

From "Outpost Two's" 1976 zine, Cosmic Borders:

...a few words on the transitory nature of STAR TREK clubs. The world is replete with various STAR TREK organizations, and it sems that many of these are born, grow, and die within an extremely short period of time. OUTPOST TWO has taken quite a while to get started -- but we intend to be around for a long while, too. We hope that you will appreciate the efforts that are going into this club, and that YOU will give YOUR best efforts at making OUTPOST TWO one fh the most respected, informed, and worthwhile organizations ever in TREK fandom.

Other "Outposts"

From "Outpost Two's" 1976 zine, Cosmic Borders:

I would like to thank our Secretary, Liz Schwarber for her enthusiasm and great help in getting OUTPOST TWO started. In addition to the National Outpost of HIGH STEPPIN' TREKKIES, there is now Outpost 1 in California [1], and Outpost 3 which is starting in New York under the able direction of Lloyd Lawrence, so it is obvious that HST is a growing organization.
