onedanon is a One Direction anon meme on LiveJournal. It was active in 2012-2013, before another rival anon meme started up, anon1d.
onedanon was not the first 1D anon meme. It was a successor to a user account, 1danon, created 7 May 2012, that mods said was harder to manage than a community.[1] When the meme started, one anon on the first page of comments complained that they were now following three 1D anon memes; it's left unstated which one was the third, but could be 1dkinkmeme.[2]
As of September 2023, the community has 42 posts and 190,396 comments.[3] A backup journal was created on dreamwidth, but it was not used.
