Love this story SO much. I've been following it since the very beginning and have enjoyed every moment of it. I can't tell you how many Wednesdays I looked forward to over the past few months simply because I knew this was going to update. I'd be driving home from class and realize and lo and behold there it was in my inbox! Thank you so much for taking the time to share this gem with us. I can't wait for any sequels or spin offs or anything you can come up with. I'll take it!
This fic has seen me during highs and lows, and in turn I have enjoyed every word in every sentence of every passage in this work. It's truly masterful, and I can confirm there were many tears from me during the last few chapters. Truly, thank you for having written this. It's been almost a decade since this was first uploaded. I'm not sure how this comment will find you, I hope well, but from the bottom of my heart, thank you. At times, this kept me going. It was sweet, and funny and suspenseful and heart wrenching and simply beautiful. I'm incredibly happy that this exists.
I liked the premise of this novel, but it was a tad long in my opinion. And I wished there was more crimes to be solved. Another thing was that with the final crime to solve, I assumed Sherlock would have looked at the cab to deduce something. I thought the two Sherlock's were darling together. I liked that it wasn't just one big soppy story of romance. And I liked how true to character the MCs were. I would have liked to read more of Mycroft's romance too. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this. I can't believe this quality of writing is not published. This was better than a lot of the tripe that is out there for $$.Djenifer[3]
A charming fic, sweet without being saccharine, light moments balanced with the frictions and griefs of living and caring, in families by blood and by choice. There are many clever lines and scenes, and sensitive insights (keeping in mind it's AU from any backstory or developments introduced in seasons 3 or 4, including the Holmes parents).Diane[4]
What a perfect ending! I am absolutely inlove with this story and have been keeping up with it ever since i read it! Its so cute how Oliver has that a bit of John and a bit of Sherlock and that becomes him :) Really look forward for a come back ! xx
What a lovely ending to a wonderful story. This story had me in a roller coaster of feelings. From laughing, to crying, to hurt, and at the end it left me with a big smile on my face. I'm so happy to hear that your thinking of bringing back Ollie, I can't wait to see what new adventures he'll have.
This… This story is so emotional, so heart stopping and utterly amazing. I had never pictured Sherlock to ever be a parent but in this story him and his son – because that’s what he is – are totally amazing together and John is along for the ride. Earlgreytea68 of course made John the only one so far whom hasn’t figured out his relationship with Sherlock.
