Mu Qing is a major character of the danmei c-novel Heaven Official's Blessing.
Canon
As a human, Mu Qing as first the servant, then a general besides Xie Lian. During the prince's banishment, he left, although he later tried to go back and help.
When Xie Lian for the third time, it is Mu Qing (together with Feng Xin), in the disguise of the middle court god Fu Yao, that helps him with his mission during the Ghost Groom storyline. Despite the tension from their past and his sarcastic style, he keeps helping out Xie Lian during the story.
