Miyuki Kazuya/Sawamura Eijun is a pairing in the Daiya no Ace fandom. Miyuki is a first-string catcher on Seidou High School's baseball team, while Sawamura is a first-string pitcher in the year below him and the protagonist of the series.
Canon
In the opening chapters of Daiya no Ace, Sawamura is hesitant about coming to Seidou until he visits the school for a practice game and Miyuki helps him strike out an intimidating third-year student. They trust each other immensely when it comes to baseball, but often bicker off the field. When they're both late to the first day of practice, Miyuki throws Sawamura under the bus to get out of running extra laps. Miyuki is the only upperclassman Sawamura speaks to as an equal, never holding back on criticizing and pushing Miyuki to do better. Miyuki, in turn, uses his aggressive play calling to make the most of Sawamura's pitching. Together, the battery strikes out a number of intimidating opponents.
