Miya Osamu is a character in the manga and anime, Haikyuu.
Canon
Miya Osamu is a second year wing spiker on the Inarizaki Volleyball Team. He is also able to set, and has done so in place of his setter and twin brother, Miya Atsumu. Instead of playing professional volleyball after high school like his brother, Miya Osamu chooses to open a restaurant instead, named Onigiri Miya.
Osamu is calmer and more laid back than his brother, although he is competitive. When he loses his temper, he has an explosive reaction (although this is usually targeted towards Atsumu). He also has a distinct passion for food. He has used food metaphors in relation to volleyball.

Tropes
- Overprotective Miya Osamu: Osamu is very protective over Atsumu, to an extreme extent. This trope often involves Osamu threatening Atsumu's romantic partners and keeping tabs on Atsumu's life to make sure nothing's going on with his brother.
- Dense Miya Osamu: Miya Osamu has been portrayed in many fanworks as someone who cannot pick up on subtle hints. Confessions and flirting may go right over his head.
