From the Editor
I had no training in publishing, but simply felt the creative urge to do a letterzine. I looked at some professionally printed magazines and said, "that's what I want to do." Armed with a mere typewriter, ruler, pencil and glue-stick, I created Miscellaneous Affairs, an ADDERLY news/letterzine. It was desktop publishing the old-fashioned way. The zine lasted five quarterly issues until the fandom slowly drifted away to other things. [1]
