Millennium Apocalypse is an unofficial sequel to Chris Carter's tv show MillenniuM by filmmaker Jason D. Morris in form of a web series. The independent film project was heavily inspired by the tv show, since Morris himself is a big fan of the show.

Background

Millennium Apocalypse was created by Jason D. Morris and the production company In Pieces Productions. In the series, Morris wife Shoni Alysse-Cook plays the adult Jordan Black, who is again confronted with the terrible legacy of the Millennium Group and tries to come to terms with her gift. The plot of the first season takes place in 2011 - nine years after the events of the final Millennium episode We are all Shepherds.

Originally, the episodes were published on a separate website. In 2011, as part of Fearsome Friday, all episodes were posted weekly on the Back To Frank Black project website.

Just like in the original show, a quote will be displayed at the beginning of each episode. However, the fade-ins are red (and not white like in the original TV show).
