Reactions and Reviews

Thanks be to the author for the up-front explanation of the characters Donfield and Vladeck from UNCLE. Without that setup, I’d have been lost in this crossover. But I was given just the right amount of information to understand how much their situation parallels the attraction between Kirk and Spock. It doesn’t matter that we have no real explanation of how Kirk wakes up from a head injury believing he’s Donfield, what’s important is how it leads him to the clear understanding of how much Spock means to him. Spock learns it, too, as Kirk takes his hand and won’t let go. A nice, satisfying short story. [1]
