Summary
"An elderly McCoy recalls the good old days on the "real" ENTERPRISE while Data from the TNG episode "Encounter At Farpoint" escorts him to the shuttle. In this vignette, we discover, through McCoy's point of view, the ultimate fates of his two best friends."

All of Anna's stories are intensely felt and well paced, but I think this is one of her best. Even though it is sad, it has the 'feel' of the series characters and gave me an insight into McCoy's response that I hadn't had before. [1]
