Melanie Athene was a Star Trek, Starsky & Hutch & Professionals fan writer in the mid 1980s. Her work appeared in several fanzines. She has been on LiveJournal since 2004 and has recently begun archiving her stories on Archive of Our Own. As well as continuing to be involved in the Professionals fandom, she has also written numerous Lord of the Rings stories. Recently she has become involved in the Supernatural fandom.
