Excerpts
Q: When did you first watch Starsky and Hutch?
A: Original run, starting with the pilot! I loved the show and had a crush on Starsky from the get-go. Then the series ended, and real life hit. I rediscovered the show and discovered the fandom in 2011, and my love for the show (as well as my crush on Starsky) took up right where it had left off.
Q: What is your favorite story that you wrote, and in the fandom.
A: Hmm. I like different drabbles for different reasons. Overall I’m pretty happy with my drabble for “First Time.” I challenged myself to write in the second person and tried to capture the sensory aspect of being shot, and it works for me.
In the fandom – whew! There are so many talented writers here, and some really great stories that rival any published non-fanfic. Can I list one for each category I can come up with? No? Well, then, I’ll randomly pick one of my top favorites – JoJo’s “Getting a Grip” trilogy. It’s wonderfully thought out, with well-drawn characters, and it’s completely believable – what really could have happened after the hour-long “Bloodbath” concluded.
