Reactions/Reviews
- "This is a haunting, lyrical vid that showcases the very best story arc (IMO) we've yet seen on BSG in all its tragic glory. I have made some suggestions for improvement, but overall I think it's quite strong and definitely worth watching." ~ feedback at the reel review.
- "The video looked like it was filmed looking through broken pieces of sea glass. Very cool. I loved the last little bits with the burning paper. Very haunting." ~ feedback at the vid announcement.
- "I’ll be honest. I didn’t like it at first. It was hard to swallow… Then around the third viewing (because I couldn’t not rewatch it) I realized the ‘dislike’ was a hauntingly emotional aftertaste in my mouth and a chilling side-effect of watching a condensed version of the occupation on New Caprica. It was as if you re-invoked every emotion I felt watching season three and The Resistance, the gut-churning, on the edge of my seat, disgusted fascination I experienced the first time around. It is for this reason I believe you vid is wonderfully successful, my favorite of all I’ve seen in recent months (jockeying for the number-one-favorite-of-all-time with a vid from another fandom I stumbled upon three years ago). Hauntingly beautiful." ~ feedback at the vid announcement.
