Maxine "Max" Caulfield is a main character in the video game Life is Strange and the comic book series based on the game. She also appears in the bonus episode, 'Farewell', in Life is Strange: Before the Storm and is mentioned in Life is Strange 2 and Life is Strange: True Colors.
Canon
Early on in Life is Strange, Max discovers that she can rewind and stop time when she uses the ability to prevent her childhood friend, Chloe Price, from being murdered by another student in the school. Max goes onto use those abilities to try and find out what happened to Chloe's missing friend, Rachel Amber.
