Max/Phoebe, also known as Thundercest, is a popular The Thundermans ship between Max Thunderman and Phoebe Thunderman.
Canon
Max and Phoebe are the twins and oldest children of Hank and Barbara Thunderman, older brother and sister to Billy, Nora and Chloe. They have a love/hate type relationship (mostly love/annoying sibling-type relationship). They share the same powers, although Phoebe chose to be a superhero like their parents and due to many believing she would be the greatest superhero the world has ever seen, Max decides to become the greatest supervillain. This causes some tensions between the two, but they always protect and care for one another.
Fandom
While the Thundermans fandom is fairly small and thus not a lot of fanworks exist for it, the community for Max/Pheoebe is one of the largest in the fandom. The first fic for the pairing appeared on FanFiction.net on January 25, 2014.[1]
Fanfiction is posted to Archive of Our Own, Tumblr and FanFiction.net. Commentary, Gifsets and other fanart are posted to Tumblr and Twitter, fanvideos are posted to YouTube. Most fans enjoy the actors' chemistry and love when they interact in the series (some even ship it: Kira Kosarin/Jack Griffo aka Jira).
The actress that portrays Phoebe is aware of the Max/Phoebe shipping/shippers and has stated multiple times that shipping the two are brother and sister and "not okay", despite the fact that she liked Thundercest edits or follows Thundercest shippers.[2]
