Although the overall Knives Out fandom is small, Marta/Ransom is in the top 3 most popular pairings of the fandom. Due to the actions of Ransom in the film, many consider the pairing controversy or refer to the pairing to be "garbage/trash" (term is similar to a crack pairing). Others enjoy the chemistry the actors had together and ship them anyway.
