Brian Hugh Warner (born January 5, 1969), better known by his stage name Marilyn Manson, is an American rock musician who dabbles in painting and acting. The former music journalist is known for his controversial stage persona and image as the lead singer of the goth band Marilyn Manson (and the Spooky Kids). His stage name was formed from combining the names of the two American cultural icons actress Marilyn Monroe and cult leader Charles Manson as a commentary on American culture. There are a few concept albums in MM's discography, such as Mechanical Animals and Antichrist Superstar, so there are lots of fics based on those stories as well as lots of kinky slash fic in this bandom.
